Someone we know was killed over the weekend. Andy Horner died in a highway accident Sunday morning when his motorcycle collided with an SUV making a left-hand turn on Highway 28 near Bancroft, Ontario. We were fond of Andy, and thought he was a real stand-up guy, but we didn’t know him that well. He was our auto mechanic, and we swore by him; he was the kind you trust and recommend and follow if he changes garages. A man of integrity and decency. From what I can tell, his loss has shaken everyone up around here.
